I was looking at the schools web site and figured out that you will start Kindergarten in 2010.

Bumps & Bike Ride

It was a quiet weekend, no company visiting. You are busy crawling around and bumping your head, once on the coffee table, once on the lamp and another on the kitchen table. But only a few tears and then back to crawling & trying to stand. We were hoping to go swimming on Sunday, but ran out of time. You went with us to Target, Kohl’s and Babys R Us and you got stuff at each store. Once we got home and ate we went on a 2 mile bike ride and you rode in the bike trailer that grandpa and grandma got you for Christmas. You enjoyed the ride and giggled when daddy passed us. This will be a short week as you have no school on Thursday or Friday and we plan to head out of town on Wednesday evening on a road trip to see the great grandma’s.

Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma & Grandpa were here to visit for the weekend. They babysat so we could go to a shower for Baby Strobel. We put up a gate on the stairs so you won’t go tumbling down. Now to see if Barney will get used to his new passage way up and down the stairs. You are getting very mobile and have started to pull on the kitchen drawers. At school you like to play with scarves and play dress up with Elena.

Company

Your aunt Donna, Uncle Leon and cousin Cliff are here to do some shopping, relaxing and visiting. You have been having a good time with them and find Cliff to be pretty funny. You are really starting to crawl all over the place. You keep pulling yourself up on furniture, so you want to stand and I am guessing you will be walking soon. I am going to Target over lunch today to find a gate for the stairs and plugs for the outlets. Yesterday when I went to pick you up at school you were playing dress up with Elena by wearing a scarf over your head. You looked so cute with your big bright smile.

Crawling

You have figured it out a couple of days ago. You can now crawl. So far you have crawled into the laundry room, up on the fireplace and across the living room. Now we need to start child proofing the house and figure out how to keep you safe and not tumbling down the stairs.

New Nephew

You are an aunt again. Lennon was born on Thursday Aug 4th.

First Steps

We heard again from SbyS that you are loosing enthusiasm for baby food and that we should be bringing other foods for you to eat. So last night I tried cheese for the 2nd time. The first time you really did not like it. But last night after playing with it for about 20 minutes you actually started eating it and finished off about a half a slice. Then daddy spent time with you on the floor and you took your first steps on all four. It seemed to come very natural after hesitating for a couple of weeks just rocking. We are working on Milk in sign language.

Cousins Visit

Your cousins, Danielle, Danee & Danita were here to visit over the weekend. They took you to the Mall of America for your first shopping trip.
