You were happy with your orange outfit for school, but not too fond of the cowgirl outfit for trick or treating. Maybe next year you can pick out your own outfit.

Home Sick

You are home sick today, still running a fever since your shots on Monday, we go to see the doc this afternoon, just to make sure nothing else is wrong.

1 Year Appointment

You had your one year appointment on Monday and got more shots, yesterday you were fine, but today ran a bit of a fever from the shots.

School Pictures

We got your school pictures today.

Birthday Party

We had your second birthday party today. Lot’s of people attended and you got lot’s of cool gifts. Other then the paper you liked the farm animals from Scarlet the best.

Illinois Party

We celebrated your 1st birthday with family in Illinois today.

Visitors

You met some new people today and yesterday. Some co-workers of Daddy’s from many years ago. We also had lunch today at the candy kitchen with Donna and Harriet.

Ronnie

We met David, Kyle and Ronnie (Veronica) for dinner at Chautara in Madison Wi last night. This restaurant is owned by the parents of my acupuncturist. Good food and good company. We then hit the road and got to nana Jean’s just after midnight.

Doctor Appointment

We head to Nana Jeans today for a long weekend to include a birthday celebration. But first, we noticed you will still tugging on your ears, so just to be safe we decided to have them checked before we head out of town. The doc said the ears are fine but you are getting 3 more teeth, way back where the molars come in. That would explain any pain or discomfort or tugging of the ears. We hope to leave town by 1pm today.

Bubbles

You are not afraid of the water. You always do a face bob in the bubbles of your bath water.

Walking

I think you are just days away from walking. Last night I got to pick you up from school and when I got there you were using a little car similar to the one you have at home. But you were standing beside it and pushing it sideways from one side of the room to the other. Kathy said you are possessive over that car and don’t let the other kids use it. Today should be your first school hot lunch. I hope you like it, it will make it a little easier for daddy in the morning.

Weekend

It was a pretty busy weekend. Saturday we finished the fire pit. Then that night we invited the neighbors over for a fire. Donna and Nick were the last to leave at almost midnight. It was fun to just sit around visit, eat snacks & smores and drink beer. You of course were in bed by about 7:30 so you missed the fire. But that did not stop you from getting up several times during the night. I ended up sleeping with you on the couch. Every time I tried to put you in your bed you started to cry. Wondering if you still don’t have a touch of an ear infection. Sunday was low key. We went to Panera for lunch and again you were great. We did a stroll through the neighborhood. We need to start getting organized for the trip it IL to see nana and have your birthday party.
