Well you had your 2nd Christmas and you even helped tear the paper to open your gifts this year. Like most kids you were more interested in the boxes then what was inside the boxes. You got a Leap Pad game, a doll and some money for your college fund. You had a good time at Grandma’s even though I suspect your ears are still bothering you. We got home from Grandpa and Grandma’s on Monday afternoon. They were then going to finish packing so they could head to Texas on Tuesday.
You did not sleep very well Monday night. I held you most of the night either in the chair or on the floor. But today you slept for several hours during the day. Hopeful that you can return to school on Wednesday.
We took some Christmas pictures this weekend for our Christmas card. We had difficulty finding one where all 3 of us are smiling and looking at the camera, but we found one that is not too bad. Visited with Mike, Ty & Sophie on Saturday and then Lisa & Dave on Sunday. You were very good both days and played quite a bit with Sophie. You must have been tired as you fell asleep fairly early last night. And still have a bit of a cough.
We went to Sophie’s house to take a few Christmas card pictures.
you are doing more dancing, tonight while watching Barney you do this thing where you bend your knees, lean forward and then poke your butt back, like you have learned a new move. today daddy & papa both took the day off to do christmas shopping. we got you some cool things and got just about done with everyone else too…
just yesterday I mentioned you were getting mad when we couldn’t figure out what you wanted, when out of the blue you did sign language for “more” after handing over your sippy cup, what a pleasant surprise
You have figured out that getting Mad gets attention. You have exhibited times where you get mad because you want something, the problem is we don’t know what you want. It’s all part of learning sweety.
A few more words this week. kaker (cracker) and diaper. You still have an occasional cough this week, but nothing serious.
You recognize certain music, such as the closing song to Barney. Today when the song came on you started to rock from side to side. They must be teaching you something in music class at school.
