Nana

Nana Jean arrived last night about 8:30.  I kept you awake longer then you would have liked so she could say good night to you.  Her flight was delayed about 8 hours, so it was a long day for her.

Mexico

Grandpa & Grandma stopped on their way home from Texas for a couple of days. You got to show off all that you have learned since the last time you saw them at Christmas. In this picture you are modeling the new dress they brought you from one of their many trips to Mexico.

Lions Roar

When asked what a lion does or sounds like you say ROAR in your angriest voice.

Owl

You learned a new word, OWL.  You can point out the owl’s painted on Noah’s Ark in your room, you can identify the owl in the lobby at school and when asked what goes “who who”, you say OWL.

Berenstain Bears

You are pretty casual watching one of your favorite shows, “The Berenstain Bears”

NO

You may have learned NO this week.  When we ask you questions you start to shake your head from side to side.  But we are not sure if you know what it means or if you are just shaking your head.

Fever

Uh Oh, got a call from Daycare this morning, you had a fever.  You must have picked up something from one of the parties over the weekend.  Later in the day we found out that Jameson and Scarlet both got sent home sick as well.  You probably got something at Jameson’s house and then spread it to Scarlets.  Bummer.

Party, Party, Party

Friday night we had our neighborhood progressive Christmas party.  You played with Jameson and his friend Riley at Bob & Patty’s house.  After that we headed over Phil & Donna’s and you played with Nicholas a bit although he was more interested in his guns and swords.  Then daddy took you home and you went to bed just before the party arrived.  You slept through all of the noisy conversation.  We were amazed.

Then on Sunday we went to Scarlet’s house for her first birthday. You had fun and got to play with 4 other kids and a frisky cat and big black dog.

Feisty

Feisty is how I would describe this past weekend.  You were definitely testing our limits.  You enjoyed trying to repeatedly tip over the floor lamp and standing on the seat of your little chair.  And you weren’t all that excited to watch the Oscar’s on Sunday night.  Your friend Jameson has RSV now, so hopefully you don’t get it.
