Stacking Eggs

Today while playing on your own, you started to stack the plastic easter eggs. You got about 6 high before you decided to knock them over. Later I found you lying on the floor just paging through one of your books.

18 Month Appointment

You had your 18 month appointment today. You are progressing as expected, but still a bit light on weight, but nothing to be concerned about. You also had a shot which hurt for a bit. Friday is teacher appreciation, so I might see you then. I am in your room during nap time while your teachers go for lunch.

Teacher Appreciation Day

I was in your room today during nap time. But you were asleep the whole time and do not even know that I was there. Your teachers had a nice lunch in the big center room. You are starting to put words together, like bye daddy. New words we have taught you or you just learned in the past week or so: button, Donna, Grace.

Cup

You are starting to pronounce more words. Today in toddlers you went through 3 outfits. In toddlers you use cups and not sippy cups, so you spilled on yourself a few times.

Blocks

Tonight we spent a lot of time playing with your giant lego blocks. You are starting to put them together, just before you knock them down. We built a tower that was taller then you are. You knocked the top of the tower off and then tried to put it back on.

Weekend

You did really well for Grandpa & Grandma. It was almost like you did not miss us. But that is good, we feel much better as we get ready for our week long trip away.
When we got back you showed us how you gave your new doll “dolly juice”.

Overnight

You got to play with Sarah & Hannah last night and most of today. We head to Fargo shortly.

Grandpa & Grandma

We are busy packing today to head to Grandpa & Grandma for the weekend. You are going to spend Sat night with them while we head to Fargo overnight. Our first night away.

Building Blocks

Today we were playing with your giant lego blocks and for the first time you did more then just knock the blocks down. You actually tried to put some of them back together. Is that an indication that you might want to be some type of engineer when you group up, maybe mechanical and build bridges.

Swing

We got you a swing for Christmas, Papa finally got it hung under the deck and the weather was actually warm enough for you to use it this weekend.

Easter Egg Hunt

You borrowed daddy’s vacation hat, donned your Dora sun-glasses and were ready to hunt for Easter eggs.

Tuesday

After our stroll through the neighborhood we walked around the yard. The forsythia on the south is blooming and there are a few small flowers in the front yard blooming. You laughed at the birds in the tree when they flew off.

Sunday Outside

We went for a walk today.   But not before going to urgent care this morning.  You have had 2 rough nights coughing and crying.  You have a bit of a cold and an ear infection in the L ear.  So much for the tubes.
As we came back into the yard we noticed that the red maple buds were starting to open up. Spring is on the way.

More Teeth

We think you might be getting more teeth.  A bit of a fever, red checks and a bit cranky.

Bubbles

You love playing with bubbles, especially at bath time.
