Twinkle Twinkle

We went camping this weekend, probably the last time this season. On Saturday when we put you down for your afternoon nap, we were sitting outside reading, when all of a sudden we heard “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. You sang the whole song and we had thought you had already fallen asleep.

Oh My Gosh

Today you were watching TV and saw something funny and said “Oh My Gosh”.

A B C’s

This morning while we were laying in bed waiting to see when you were going to wake up we would hear an occasional noise from you. Then all of a sudden you started singing the ABC song and you made it all the way to Z with only a couple of missed letters. After that you started singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. It was so cute to hear you singing all on your own without any help or prompting.

Jacob

Chuck & baby Jacob came over today to play for a while. You went for a wagon ride and played with the ball. Jacob will be 1 in a couple of days.

Donna & Leon

Your Aunt Donna and Uncle Leon are here, they arrived on Saturday. You have been having fun playing with them and ask about them on the way to and from school. Too bad the weather hasn’t been nicer so you could spend time outside with them.

Ava

We had our dads group today and you got to play with Ava. You and Ava thought it was pretty funny to sit amongst the flowers in their yard.

Pictures

School pictures were today. Daddy got you a new outfit. The shirt, jeans & sweater all match. Hopefully you did not spill anything before the pictures were taken.

Parent night at school

Today was parent night and we thought it was more of an open house, come anytime between 6:30 and 8 pm. We got there about 7:30 to find there was a set schedule of events. But we got to see your room and Ms. Jenni did one lesson for us, so we have an idea of what and how you are learning each day.

Boys!

Uh Oh, you have got the attention of all the neighborhood boys. You were out with daddy in the front yard when Preston, Jacob, Joey, Jessum & Santiago all stopped by to say hi. You managed to say some of their names and pronounced Santiago quite well. We will have to watch out for them in the coming years, although Preston seems to already be a bit protective.

Hello moon

On the way to School this morning the moon was still up in the western sky. You looked and said “moon”, and I said “yes it is a full moon.” Then you said, “Hello Moon, Good to see you.”

Back to School

After a long holiday weekend, you started back at school. The classrooms were freshly painted and everything looked very organized. You were tired after your first day, however I don’t know how different it was versus the summer session.

Grandpa & Grandma

We spent the weekend up at the lake with Grandpa and Grandma. The weather was a bit rainy so we were inside most of the time, but Grandma managed to take you on a few stroller rides when it was dry outside. You even played with the neighbor girls and jumped on their trampoline a few times.
