You are starting to put together more words into short sentences. Tonight you said while watching Dora, “Baby Bear is on the Mountain”. Sentences was one of the questions your doctor had during your 2 year appointment.

Today while eating you choked on a mouth full of pretzels, which scared you a bit. But 30 minutes later you were still hungry and went back to your highchair. Then you started repeating, “Chew, Don’t Choke”.

We were driving in the car today for over an hour when out of the blue you said “Back Hurts”. Apparently you too get a stiff or sore back from sitting in the car too long.

Dora the Explorer is now King (or Queen). The DVD you got for your birthday now trumps Easter, Duke Duke and Animals. You are everything Dora now. You particularily like the map and the repetition of the show, and almost always know what will happen next.

Melman the giraffe
October 10, 2006 · Leave a Comment
Lately you have been watching only 3 movies, VeggieTales Easter, VeggieTales Duke Duke, and Madegasgar. You ask for Easter most of the time, animals (Madegasgar) 2nd and Duke Duke occasionally. In your bedroom you have a stuffed giraffe that looks like Melman, which you wanted to sleep with last night. At 10 when we checked on you, you had Melman on top of your head. You then woke up at 3 and 4 am and we think maybe you were afraid of Melman who was still in your crib. So tonight if you want to sleep with Melman we will take him out after you fall asleep.
