Cleaning Lady

Lately you want to help on anything that we are doing.  That goes for cooking, folding clothes and even cleaning.  So here you are with the floor swiffer.

Tricycle

Today the weather was nice and we gave your new tricycle a try.

You haven’t quite got pedaling down yet, but are getting close.  I think you would rather have daddy push you around, it is easier.

Bob & Mary

Today we had brunch with Bob & Mary at Granite City.  We got to visit for a few hours and have good food.  As we were buckling you into your car seat you said, “It was great to see Bob & Mary”.

Semi-Circle

Tonight we were looking out the living room window at an airplane and the sun setting.  High above us, almost straight up you saw the moon and said, “I see the moon, it is a semi-circle”.

Wedding

You had a good time at the wedding. Before hand you helped drop and re-arrange the flower petals on the red carpet.

You sat very still & quiet during the entire wedding. At the end when Ross & Danielle came to hug parents and grandparents and present roses, you held out your arms, as you wanted a hug also.

At the reception and dance you had a blast and went non-stop running, jumping and dancing for nearly 2 hours.

Dangerous

After a long drive in the rain and snow we finally made it to Nana’s house around 10 last night.  Today while standing in the bedroom doorway and trying to close the door with your head out in the hallway you said, “this is dangerous”.

Noah

Today you spent a lot of time playing pretend. You were playing with your Noah’s Arc and it opens like a doll house. You were putting the animals in the Arc with Noah and his wife who you think is Mary.  You said “Lion don’t scare Mary”.

Later we had fruit for our bedtime snack. Everything needs to be big, like really big banana, or really big apple. Tonight you asked for “Really Big Pear” and then said “I’m Excited”.

Easter Egg Hunt

We just finished your first Easter Egg hunt.  Here are a few pictures.

Triangle

Today while we were laying on the floor look up you pointed to the vaulted ceiling and said “it’s a triangle”.

Cinderella

Tonight you were trying on your outfit for the wedding next week. Daddy bought many possibilities, but we decided on the pink frilly dress. As soon as you put it on you said, “I am Cinderella”. You’ll have to check back after the wedding for pictures.
